Player Groupings

Each player will be informed of their group at the check in table upon arrival each day. All age groups will be split into further groups of no more than 18 players with multiple coaches per group.

Our goal at 1UP is to ensure every player receives a positive training environment that is best suited for their individual development. It is possible that, player groupings may change from day to day. Please note that it is impossible to get the groupings 100% perfect, but like always, we try our best!

Sign In & Out Process

All players will need to be signed in by a parent/guardian at the start of every day and will need to sign out at the end of every day. Our front end staff will greet you in the main entrance for the sign in table!

After signing in each player will be given a group name and color, and directed towards their arrival cone station where they can set down their bags. They can then join the entire group for our arrival game before splitting further into separate groups.

  • Please do not drop off your player longer than 20 minute before session start time and/or longer than 10 minutes after session finish time.

  • If you wish for your player to be signed out by another parent, please inform us via email prior to the day(s) this will occur.

  • Players are allowed to sign themselves out with written notice from a parent on the first day

Technical Details

"At 1UP, training is based off high focus & effort demanded from each player, all while an encouraging and FUN environment is being created.” See below for a full layout of what players will be improving on this camp:

Camp Objective

Transition from a practice player to a game changer. Day 1 & 2: Sharpen very important habits & techniques. Day 3: a blend of training sessions and small sided games. Day 4: match day! Shout out to our Keepers! Goalkeepers will not be coached, but will receive an unreal amount of shots and repetitions in game realistic environments, and in some stations, competing against the players!

All sessions are carefully designed by head coach & founder Graham Fisher, and Niko Myroniuk, current pro for Cavalry FC. Sessions consists of all important player habits needed to excel and improve in today's modern game within GAME REALISTIC training activities. Graham blends his 7 years of youth & professional experience in Germany, Ireland, Spain & England, with his 3 National Coaching licenses to bring the players and coaching staff a second to none training environment.

Physiotherapy

Having a physio therapist / athletic therapist on site is vital for the player’s performance and health throughout the week. We are excited to announce that a top physio, ABSOLUTE THERAPY will be on site on December 31st, January 2nd & January 3rd. Physios on site with 1UP will be treating players for emergencies and injuries. They will make informed decisions about whether players will be permitted to return to play if they have received an injury.

Medical/Injuries

Our player's safety is our first priority. Please read below carefully:

  • If there are any medical concerns or injuries that you wish to highlight, please inform us via email prior to camp start and we will add it to our records.

  • If there are any last minute medical concerns or injuries that you wish to highlight, please make sure you check in with the coaches before each day.

  • Any issues must be reported to our physiotherapist on site.

  • Please ensure that your player packs all proper medication necessary. (Inhaler, EpiPen, etc.)

Limited Time for Snack Break

Due to only 2 hours of training each day, the players will not be given a snack break. Instead, the players will be given multiple hydrations breaks. Should a player find a snack break vital, they are free to enjoy a quick snack in the cafeteria on their own time.

Change Room/Washroom Details
